Brace Construction:

With strength and durability critical in making the Squeak-Relief system so effective, each floor brace is manufactured of solid aircraft grade aluminum and precision machined to exacting specifications. Once installed, the Squeak-Relief floor brace not only acts as a guide for the two power drive screws, it also provides permanent structural support to the floor. All Squeak-Relief kits now come with the new "quick tack" brace-pin for positioning the  bracket before power drilling in the special length screws. Remember..pre-drilling is never required ..or recommended!
